Job Description

Purpose of the role: Coordinate and support fruit export sales activities as per the sales plan and provide administrative support to the Commercial Managers, ensuring efficient and best-practice service to our clients. Key Performance Areas Administration (50%) Accurately capturing prices and freight detail before COS submissions Accurate and timeous allocation of stock to trigger the export function Operational (30%) Timeous action of operational requirements on bookings and communication with freight forwarders and logistics partners Monitor and follow up on the export process with logistics and freight forwarders Relationships (10%) Manage external stakeholder relationships with freight and logistics service providers Internal relationship management with the commercial and financial teams Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate and support fruit export sales activities as per the sales plan and provide administrative support to the Commercial Managers to ensure efficient and best-practice service to clients Create and administer COS between the company and clients, including updating of shipping schedule, updating LoadBuilder, and timeous and accurate information/document exchange between the company and stakeholders / clients Allocate stock according to availability in line with clients’ weekly demand / purchase as per Commercial Manager’s instruction Finalise sales with Commercial Managers Upkeep of the pricing system Data capturing in PR3 Monitor stock and age of pallets Assist other departments with data capturing during the off-peak season General administration associated with the position Candide Requirements: Qualifications Commercial qualification required preferably B.Comm in Marketing or Logistics Management Experience 3 5 years’ relevant working experience Experience in the citrus or fruit export industry will be advantageous Experience in PR3 will be an added advantage Skills and Attributes Fully computer literate Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
