Job Description

Preparation of monthly Management Account packs Ensure all HOD receive and sign for department financial results Compile monthly balance sheet reconciliation file and ensure integrity of financial statement line items Ensure generated revenue is accurate and imported to accounting software package Ensure monthly stats reports are created and correct Analysis of cost vs budget Identify cost saving opportunities Review reconciled expenditure reports Assist with cost control requirements Calculate and reconcile VAT payable Annual income tax calculations and submission for review Ensure accuracy of month revenue journal Accurately capture all project management related activities and fees Homeowner profile and fee structure maintenance Ensure home owner statements are completed on time Check and release electronic bank statements Petty cash count and reconciliation monthly Ensure cash flow forecast is done monthly Procurement Secure best products and pricing structures Ensure order protocol is followed Performed detailed analysis and review on Cost of Sales Stock Control including monthly and spot stock counts Stock journals Ensure accurate and timely submission of time sheet journals to payroll department Ensure integrity and maintenance of fixed asset register Monthly depreciation journals Accounts receivables monthly Compile annual budgets and submit for approval Review budgets and expenses for variables Preparation of rolling estimate forecasts Creditors reconciliations and age analysis monthly Prepare annual audit files Investigate and respond to audit queries Maintain and build strong relationship with the rest of the team Develop and maintain relationships with outside vendors Adhoc request where necessary Skills & Experience: Minimum 3 5 years experience performing similar tasks Hospitality, Restaurant or FMCG/Retail sector experience highly beneficial Able to travel to Camps Bay timeously daily Qualification: Matric Minimum of a BCom Finance Qualification Completed articles will be beneficial Contact ALEXANDRA MALONEY on

Job Description

As an Accountant , youll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Youll handle reconciliations, journal entries, and creditor management while supporting the smooth operation of the finance function. If you thrive on precision, have strong attention to detail, and enjoy working with numbers, this role offers the chance to showcase your expertise. Youll work closely with stakeholders, contribute to efficient financial processes, and play a key role in delivering accurate reporting. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and complete daily financial records Ensure proper procedures for document completion, submissions, and timely payments Process accounting transactions and generate reports for monthly account reconciliations Assist with: Bank reconciliations and administration Cashbook and credit card processing Journal entries and general ledger maintenance Handle creditors: applications, reconciliations, and payment preparation Maintain an organized electronic filing and archiving system Job Experience and Skills Required: Grade 12 and a relevant Accounting qualification Minimum 35 years experience in Accounting (preferably in Retail) Proficiency in MS Word, Excel (intermediate), and Outlook Strong knowledge of accounting principles Ability to work under pressure with high attention to detail. Accurate, neat, and professional approach to record-keeping and admin tasks Excellent communication skills Ability to perform calculations and prepare detailed reports Apply now!

Job Description

Prepare monthly management account packs and ensure departmental sign-off Compile and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining integrity of financial statements Validate revenue accuracy and ensure proper import into accounting systems Produce monthly statistical reports and analyze cost vs. budget Identify cost-saving opportunities and assist with cost control measures Calculate and reconcile VAT payable; prepare annual income tax calculations for review Manage project-related activities, homeowner profiles, and fee structures Oversee cash flow forecasting, petty cash reconciliations, and procurement processes Perform detailed cost of sales analysis and manage stock control, including counts and journals Ensure accurate payroll time sheet submissions and maintain fixed asset register Prepare monthly depreciation journals, accounts receivable, and creditors reconciliations Compile annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and audit files; respond to audit queries Build strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors Handle ad hoc financial requests as needed Skills and Experience: Minimum 35 years of experience in a similar accounting role Background in hospitality, restaurant, or FMCG/retail environments is a strong advantage Ability to commute daily to Camps Bay reliably and on time Qualification: Matric Minimum of a BCom Finance Qualification Completed articles will be beneficial Contact Tatum Robinson on

In this role, youll manage payroll for approximately 700 employees across multiple locations, while supporting key financial reporting and processing functions. Youll work in a collaborative environment that values accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Process monthly payroll for approximately 700 employees. Manage clocking, rosters, and time registers. Handle new hires, terminations, and payroll adjustments. Maintain accurate employee records and resolve payroll queries. Prepare statutory submissions and reconcile payroll-related GL accounts. Financial Reporting Prepare daily sales dashboards and weekly sales trackers. Compile staff turnover reports and scorecards for management review. Financial Processing Reconcile company credit card spend and payroll bank account. Process payroll cashbook entries accurately. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit cash flow forecasts and reports Manage and control capital expenditure (CAPEX) workflows Perform balance sheet reconciliations and capture monthly journals Conduct internal audits on processes and cost controls Manage accounts payable and supplier payment cycles Review and manage IFRS 16 lease contracts Control and maintain instalment sale agreements Support external audits and respond to audit queries Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures Manage verification and movement processes for fixed assets Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 5–7 years of experience in a financial accounting or related role Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Job Description

Im partnering with my client to find a Financial Accountant whose expertise wont just be utilized it will be valued and relied upon. We are looking for a seasoned and reliable Financial Accountant, to provide support within the digital assets space. This role requires someone who can immediately take charge of daily financial functions and operate independently with limited oversight. Key Responsibilities: Managing daily financial operations and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records. Preparing and posting journals, with strong proficiency in QuickBooks required. Producing monthly management accounts, including detailed P&L and balance sheet reviews. Conducting budgeting processes, financial reporting, and variance analysis. Coordinating with our Cayman-based team on financial reporting, commentary, and deliverables. Overseeing payment workflows, account reconciliations, and ongoing cash flow monitoring. Ensuring adherence to internal controls, KYC procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Communicating directly with clients and external service providers to support financial inquiries and deliverables. Job Experience and Skills Required: Strong grasp in accounting principles (formal qualification preferred). 23 years of post-qualification experience in finance / accounting. Proven experience preparing management accounts and managing end-to-end finance operations. Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting platforms. Able to work independently with minimal guidance a proactive self-starter. Demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism, and a high level of accountability. Confident communicator capable of engaging effectively with senior and international stakeholders. Apply now!

Job Description

A independent property and asset management team, are looking to employ a Financial Accountant to join their small, high-performance team with strong values and a focus on excellence. Contribute to a growing organisation in the property and asset management sector Work closely with executives and investors, gaining exposure to strategic finance Be part of a small, collaborative team where your work has impact What you will be doing: Produce financial models to support property acquisitions Support funding negotiations with bankers Prepare detailed monthly cash flow forecasts for investors and banks Supply valuation data and review external property valuations Produce annual financial statements compliant with IFRS and SA regulations Manage tax submissions and maintain compliance with all statutory requirements Oversee external audit processes Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis and variance reporting Collaborate with property and asset managers on annual budgets Manage municipal rates accounts, reviews, objections and appeals Review monthly investor statements and prepare commentary Prepare quarterly, semi-annual and annual investor reports Manage investor drawdowns and dividend schedules Oversee implementation of finance policies and FSCA compliance Manage insurance renewals and BEE compliance Support due diligence on acquisitions and disposals Review payroll and EMP501 reconciliations Assess and enhance internal controls and IT environment What we are looking for: Minimum of a completed university degree, with a stellar academic track record Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, or completed articles plus 3 years’ experience at an accounting firm Professional affiliation advantageous (SAICA, SAIPA, CIMA, SAIBA, SAIT, etc.) Strong understanding of South African finance regulations and IFRS Experience in the property sector is preferred Exposure to FSCA compliance and reporting Skilled in budgeting, reporting, procurement processes and financial modelling Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Word and PowerPoint Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work confidently at both detail and strategic levels Assertive, efficient and easy to work with Benefits and unique aspects: High levels of exposure and responsibility in a lean, supportive team Growth opportunities and involvement in acquisition processes Please note If you haven’t heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, unfortunately your application has not been successful this time.
