Cape Town City Centre: Systems Support Engineer – Managed service provider

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Systems Support Engineer to join our team as a managed service provider, providing technical expertise and support to our clients in Cape Town City Centre. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Office 365 services and excellent troubleshooting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for Office 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Troubleshoot Windows OS and applications, email flow and routing, and Office 365 services
  • Offer network expertise, including routing & switching, PowerShell scripting, and administration
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and experience of Office 365 services
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Experience with Windows OS and applications
  • Good working knowledge of networks and routing
  • PowerShell scripting and administration skills
  • Customer-focused approach with analytical and questioning skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for an international audience

Qualifications

  • Current Microsoft Certifications in either MS or AZ tracks
