We are seeking an experienced Automotive & Truck Workshop Foreman to lead our technical team and manage the daily operations of a busy workshop. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic ability, handson mechanical expertise, and proven leadership in both lightvehicle and heavyduty truck environments.Key Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate all workshop activities for cars, LDVs, and trucks Allocate work to mechanics and apprentices, ensuring efficient workflow Perform technical diagnostics and assist with complex mechanical issuesBuilding and performing repairs on engines Conduct quality checks on all completed jobs Manage job cards, timesheets, parts usage, and workshop admin Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Support and mentor workshop staff to improve skills and productivityMinimum Requirements Matric (Grade 12) 5-10 years experience in an automotive or truck workshop Previous supervisory or foreman experience Strong technical knowledge of petrol, diesel, and heavyduty systems Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and driveline issues Valid drivers licence (Code 14 advantageous but not required) Computer literacy (job card systems, email, basic admin) Ability to manage staff and maintain workshop disciplinePreferred Skills Experience with fleet maintenance Knowledge of service schedules for trucks and commercial vehicles Strong problemsolving and customerservice ability.
