About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Auditor to join our luxury hospitality portfolio in Stellenbosch. As the primary point of contact for guests during the night shift, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service excellence and ensuring that the guest experience is prioritised above all else.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversees, coordinates, and directs the service, operations, logistics, and activities of the Front Office and other operational departments during the allocated night shift.
- Responds to requests presented by guests during night operating hours and works closely with relevant department night teams to assist department managers, ensuring a coordinated effort between teams.
- Ensures that Night Audit and reporting are accurately completed, all departments are balanced, and department “End-of-Day” procedures are correctly run.
- Ensures that all guest special requests and requirements are met by all departments and communicated clearly.
- Upselling of other facilities and services, including affiliates.
- Adheres to and maintains Health and Safety standards.
Requirements
- Experience in a 5-star luxury hotel environment
- Excellent knowledge of the Franschhoek area and surroundings
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all guests
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage, as well as general awareness of news and current affairs
- Proven track record in housekeeping, food and beverage, and butler duties
- Ability to remain courteous, calm under pressure, and consistently put guests first
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality
