About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing budgets, and promoting hotel services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure professional and effective communication with guests, colleagues, and departments at all times.
  • Supervise and support front office staff during shifts.
  • Monitor service delivery and escalate operational concerns where necessary.
  • Manage front office budgets and assist with cost control and revenue optimisation.
  • Handle guest queries, complaints, and service issues in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
  • Promote hotel services, packages, and upselling opportunities.
  • Participate in operational briefings and departmental meetings.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Skills: excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience in front office management, knowledge of hospitality industry operations.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a similar role or relevant field.
  • Attributes: strong leadership and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, flexibility and adaptability.

Qualifications

  • Formal education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Salary & Benefits

Salary range: R 15000 – R 20000 per annum.

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset or Graduates Bachelor’s degree and/or diploma in hotel or other related field.
  • Computer Knowledge and experience in MS office programs.
  • Well-developed communication and customer relations skills.
