Company is onboarding new franchise restaurants and requires a candidate in a current senior Executive Management role with deep brand understanding, strong commercial capability, and proven experience in Franchise Restaurants – only candidates who have senior management experience at these brands are being considered:- Bootlegger, Tashas, Mugg & Bean and Newscafe. This is not a restaurant manager role but a Head of Restaurants and a Business Leader role, responsible for starting a new franchise group into the country Identifying sites; Negotiating lease agreements; Importation of equipment; Layout of outlet and shopfitting installations; Establishing business licensing in the country; Ensuring profitability of each operation etc . Essential requirements:- Tertiary Diploma 10 years plus experience in full service franchise restaurants NOT IN HOTELS OR QSR Must currently be a Head of Business / Executive Operations Manager within one of the following brands:- Mugg and Bean, Tashas, News Cafe or Bootleggers Manage total onboarding of the brand from location sourcing to operations management to further expansion in franchise restaurants Proven senior leadership experience within a caf-style restaurant or coffeeshop brand environment is essential Candidate cannot be in breach of any contractual, ethical, or restraint obligations within a brand now or previously Strong understanding of the specific operating model, culture, and customer proposition Experience launching a casual dining or premium caf brand such as Mugg and Bean, Tashas, News Cafe or Bootleggers Restaurant opening experience essential Expat role, must have the above experience in Africa!
