About the Role
Top Recruitment LTd is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Internal Salesperson to join their Paarden Eiland branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with selecting tiles, sanitaryware and related accessories, preparing quotations, processing sales orders and delivering exceptional customer service to retail, contractor and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist walk-in customers with product selection and sales enquiries
- Provide professional advice on tiles, sanitaryware, bathroom accessories and related products
- Prepare accurate quotations, invoices and sales orders
- Follow up on quotations and convert enquiries into sales
- Maintain strong product knowledge of current ranges and trends
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, designers and retail customers
- Ensure showroom displays are neat, appealing and well stocked
- Process transactions and coordinate orders with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Handle customer queries, complaints and after-sales support professionally
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to branch growth
- Assist with stock checks and inventory control when required
- Stay updated on new products, promotions and pricing structures
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Previous internal sales experience within the tile, sanitaryware, hardware, building supply or home improvement industry
- Strong customer service and sales ability
- Good understanding of tiles, adhesives, bathroom fittings and related products (advantageous)
- Computer literate with experience on POS or ERP systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong administrative and quotation skills
- Well presented and professional
- Able to work alternate weekends

Salary & Benefits
R5,250 Basic salary + Basic incentive (equal to basic salary) commission (high earning potential)
