Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape Industry: FMCG Manufacturing / Beverage Manufacturing Employment Type: Permanent Position Summary A leading FMCG manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller to take ownership of the full Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle , credit risk management, debtor control, cash flow optimization, and accounts receivable governance. The role operates at management level with exposure to executive leadership and includes responsibility for leading and developing a credit control team. Key Responsibilities Financial Controls & Reporting Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) portfolio and debtor book. Prepare monthly ageing analysis reports. Monitor overdue accounts and credit term compliance. Prepare customer cash flow forecasts. Validate rebates, discounts, promotions, and AR adjustments. Manage debtor risk exposure and overdue balances. Conduct customer credit assessments. Review and approve credit limits. Enforce credit policies and account holds where required. Order-to-Cash (O2C) Management Own the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process. Manage order release processes. Improve O2C cycle efficiency and accuracy. Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams. Drive cash conversion and working capital improvements. Governance & Compliance Develop and maintain SOPs. Ensure compliance with AR policies and procedures. Maintain customer trading terms within Syspro. Conduct rebate reconciliations. Review settlement discounts and variances. Escalate financial risks and non-compliance. Recommend legal action or write-offs where required. Leadership & Team Management Lead and manage a team of 5 employees. Conduct performance reviews and coaching. Manage leave, payroll approvals, and attendance. Implement training and development plans. Drive team accountability and performance. Minimum Requirements Qualifications Degree in: Finance Accounting Financial Management Credit Management Experience 10 years Credit Control experience. Team leadership experience. Management-level exposure (MANCO). FMCG industry experience. Full Order-to-Cash experience. Advanced Accounts Receivable management experience. Credit Risk Management experience. Systems Syspro (Essential)
