Job Description

Our client operates within the financial services space and is on the lookout for a rising FP&A star.

This role sits in a high-impact finance team and plays a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic decision support.
You’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero helping leadership understand where the business is heading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage budgets and rolling forecasts (yes, the future depends on you now).
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support strategic decision-making, helping leadership make smarter moves. 
  • Develop and maintain financial models for scenario planning and “what if” moments.
  • Assist with reporting and dashboards that people will actually understand. 
  • Work with teams across Finance, Marketing, and Credit to align on business goals.
  • Support monthly management accounts and financial processes.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or similar.
  • Around 2 years’ experience in budgeting, forecasting, or FP&A.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, maybe even VBA if you’re feeling fancy).
  • Experience in lending/financial services = a bonus, not a dealbreaker.
