About the Role
The Business Analyst will deliver end-to-end business analysis services, working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, and systems. The role focuses on translating requirements into clear, actionable solutions, improving efficiency, and supporting digital and intelligent transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements
- Work with stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and opportunities
- Facilitate workshops, JAD sessions, and ideation sessions (including AI-driven solutions where applicable)
- Develop process maps (as-is/to-be), user journeys, and business workflows
- Perform GAP analysis and process optimisation
- Support delivery of medium to large-scale Agile projects
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
- Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, and product teams
- Support UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution
- Contribute to continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives
Requirements
- Core Experience:
- Strong experience working on application-based / system implementation projects
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation initiatives (essential requirement)
- Experience in large enterprise environments
- Experience supporting both project delivery and BAU enhancements
- Strong experience working in an Agile environment
Business Analysis & Process Skills
- Requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
- Process mapping, process re-engineering, and GAP analysis
- Experience with design thinking and user journey mapping
- Strong understanding of data-driven decision-making and analytics concepts
- Ability to define user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria
Tools & Technical Exposure
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, ARIS, or similar
- Strong proficiency in Excel and reporting/analysis tools
- Exposure to enterprise applications, digital platforms, and APIs/apps
Qualifications & Certifications
- Relevant degree or diploma
- Business Analysis certification (BABOK / CBAP-aligned preferred)
- Agile certification (essential or strongly preferred depending on candidate strength)
