As a Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in enabling data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation. The role spans the entire data science lifecycle from understanding business requirements and performing feature engineering to building, validating, deploying, and monitoring production‑grade models used by various business functions. Work across the full data science lifecycle: data preparation, feature engineering, modelling, validation, deployment, and monitoring. Partner with business stakeholders to define analytical requirements, provide insights, and develop data‑driven strategies. Research, test, and implement innovative ML/statistical techniques to improve analytics capabilities. Build production‑ready ML models and monitor model performance to ensure they remain accurate and fit for purpose. Present insights, trends, and analytical findings to technical and non‑technical audiences. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education (Minimum Requirement): Honours / Masters / PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative fields. Certifications in Python, cloud platforms, big data, machine learning, or related technologies beneficial. Experience: 56 years experience in data science or advanced analytics. Strong experience with Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Matplotlib) and Jupyter notebooks. SQL proficiency and experience managing large structured and unstructured datasets. Hands‑on experience in applying machine learning techniques to solve business problems. Experience working in agile development teams. Experience deploying or operationalising data science solutions in a production environment. Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of the Data Science Development Cycle. Ability to clean, transform, and unify complex datasets for modelling. Strong visualisation experience (Power BI, Tableau, Kibana or similar). Experience with big‑data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) advantageous. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem‑solving ability. Ability to translate ML outputs into clear, actionable business recommendations. Understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and production pipelines. Apply now!
