Job Purpose
The Admin Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to assigned teams, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations within a fast-paced medical administration environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months experience in Office Administration and/or a Call Centre environment
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
- Computer literacy, including basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Email)
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to accurately process large volumes of paperwork, including electronic submissions
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in daily routines on short notice
- Excellent telephonic communication skills
- Experience in medical administration will be advantageous
Duties:
- Preparing of Claims for Purchasing/Administration by Account Administrators
- Follow up includes telephonic and electronic mail interactions with the relevant employer or medical provider.
- Ensure that the patient demographics and images for weekly batches are accurately captured/uploaded onto the relevant internal system
- Educate and assist the employer regarding the current online processes set by the Compensation Fund including user registration process as well as the claim registration process.
- Ensure that the preparation of claims is timeously completed within the given deadlines
- Complete any special projects on instruction from Supervisor and/or Management
