About the Role
HotelJobs is assisting a specialist online luxury African safari travel agency in sourcing an experienced and commercially driven Senior Sales Consultant to manage key agent relationships, drive meaningful revenue growth, and consistently achieve sales targets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate safari sales professional ready to take ownership of their role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full B2B sales cycle from first enquiry through to confirmed booking
- Build strong, long-term relationships with international travel agents
- Design tailor-made itineraries and consistently achieve sales targets
- Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years B2B sales experience in the travel industry, ideally within African safari travel
- Good knowledge of East and Central Africa (Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania), including products, logistics, and safari experiences
- Proven ability to work to targets and consistently meet or exceed sales KPIs
- Strong relationship-building skills with agents, supported by clear and proactive communication
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in travel, tourism, business, or marketing is beneficial (not specified)
