About the Role

The Aftersales & Workshop Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily workshop activities to ensure efficient workflow and productivity, while driving customer satisfaction and service excellence within the aftersales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate daily workshop activities to ensure efficient workflow and productivity
  • Lead daily operational meetings and provide updates on client matters, warranty claims, stock levels, and departmental performance
  • Ensure workshop booking systems and operational processes are consistently followed
  • Review and approve job cards to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Drive Service Centre performance, including parts and accessory sales
  • Monitor and optimise workshop productivity and efficiency
  • Lead daily team engagements, resolve operational challenges, and support achievement of departmental targets
  • Approve major repair quotations and ensure accurate costing
  • Monitor stock levels, parts usage, and outstanding accounts
  • Oversee all administrative functions within the Service Centre to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Manage warranty processes, including submissions, tracking, and adherence to manufacturer requirements
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely reporting across all operational areas

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an aftersales or workshop management role within the motor industry
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Solid understanding of workshop operations, systems, and performance metrics
  • Experience with warranty administration processes
  • Strong administrative and organisational capability
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence
