Vacancy Branch Manager (Pretoria)

A well-established company in the natural stone and surface solutions industry is seeking an experienced and driven Branch Manager to lead its Pretoria operation. This role is suited to a hands-on leader with a strong background in sales, operations, and team management, who can take full ownership of branch performance while delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Running the Branch
  • Sales and Customer Service
  • Business Development
  • Client Liaison
  • Customer Credit Control
  • Money collection and banking
  • Stock Control
  • Preparing Annual Budgets
  • Employment of Staff
  • Staff management and discipline
  • Implementation and management of the companys standard operating procedures, HR policies, departmental policies and health & safety policies
  • Ensuring the Company vehicles are correctly maintained in accordance with the specifications of the respective vehicle manufacturers, ensuring that they are roadworthy at all times

Job specifications and information

  • Grade 12
  • A qualification in marketing/sales, public relations and/or business management is advantageous
  • At least have 7 years+ industry experience within a management role
  • Well-presented
  • Computer Literate in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint (and Navision will be advantageous)
  • Fluent: Speak Read Write English and Afrikaans (Vernacular literacy is advantageous)
  • Organized, self-motivated and independent, with the ability to efficiently manage administrative tasks and people.
  • To be residing within the city of Tshwane

Additional information

  • The Basic Salary is Market Related
  • There is a probation period of 3 months
  • Working hours are Mon-Fri 08h00-17h00.
  • Included are a company car and a fuel card
  • Included are a cellular telephone and a laptop (with the necessary accessories)
  • AFRIKAANS and INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE is a must have
  • The company provides a provident fund, the Employer contribution is 6.5% of basic salary per month and the Employee contribution is 3.5% – it includes a funeral cover benefit, group life insurance and disability insurance.
  • There is no medical aid included.
  • A company uniform is provided.
