Johannesburg: Senior Easy Roster Manager

Job Description

Minimum Requirements: Grade 12; Minimum 810 years experience in workforce rostering or manpower management within the security industry Advanced experience working with Easy Roster systems on centralised databases Experience with Security learnership and the management thereof Able to manage learnership projects within the guard force Experience managing workforce reporting and operational manpower analytics Experience supporting large-scale manpower deployments Experience managing staff on various companies across various wage rules and country rules. Relevant tertiary qualification in: Human Resources; Operations Management; Business Administration or related field, would be advantageous. Advanced Excel capability, would be advantageous Key Responsibilities: Workforce Rostering Governance Ensure accurate workforce rostering across operational contracts. Align manpower deployment with contractual staffing requirements, ensuring no over staffing of staff shortages. Monitor workforce allocations and manpower variances on a centralised database Workforce Data Management and Reporting – Maintain integrity of workforce data within the Easy Roster system. Produce weekly Management and operational workforce reports. Monitor absenteeism trends, leave, sick and Family leave patterns and manpower utilisation Training Centre and Compliance Projects – Provide workforce data support and reporting for: 12-Hour shift implementation projects; ETI workforce eligibility and reporting; UIF workforce reporting requirements; B-BBEE training reporting requirements; Learnership workforce deployment tracking; Skills development reporting requirements. Operational Support and Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to improve workforce rostering efficiencies; Support optimisation of Easy Roster system processes; Reduce manual reporting processes through improved data management; Support operational initiatives to improve workforce utilisation Stakeholder Support – Provide operational workforce support to: Operations Teams, Payroll department, Human Resources, Training Centre and Finance Department. Acting Responsibilities – During periods when the Group Easy Roster Manager is on leave or unavailable, the Senior Easy Roster Manager will: Oversee Easy Roster operational activities; Coordinate workforce reporting requirements; Support operational manpower planning; Manage workforce data queries between Operations and Payroll; Ensure continuity of workforce rostering governance processes Ad Hoc Operational Projects Key Competencies Roster Accuracy Rate Maintaining high accuracy of workforce rosters aligned to contractual manpower requirements and payroll records. Reduction in Overtime Variance Monitoring overtime allocations and identifying opportunities to reduce unnecessary labour costs. Reporting Turnaround Time Delivering workforce and manpower reports accurately and within required operational timelines. Forecasting Ensure that all wage forecasting is done timeously and accurately. Ensure that actual wages are aligned to forecasts. Project Support Delivery Effective coordination and reporting support for Training Centre initiatives and assigned operational projects.
