Financial Accountant

An exciting opportunity exists for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting compliance requirements within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve creditors invoices and reconciliations
  • Ensure all orders are accurate and that invoices are correctly billed to customers
  • Verify and validate customer invoices
  • Reconcile fuel and toll accounts
  • Perform general ledger (G/L) expenditure reconciliations
  • Assist with statutory compliance and maintain accurate filing of records
  • Support BEE verification processes and ensure compliance with POPIA and other relevant legislation
  • Communicate effectively with multiple branches and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure smooth financial operations
  • Manage multiple priorities and respond efficiently to urgent tasks as they arise

Minimum Requirements

  • Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles
  • Relevant qualification in Accounting / Finance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
