About the Role
Manage daily site operations for ventilation and ducting installation projects in Cape Town City Centre, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a dedicated on-site installation team
- Conduct site visits prior to installation to assess requirements and plan resources
- Plan projects efficiently, including the hiring of installation equipment (e.g. cranes, cherry pickers, scaffolding)
- Prepare and maintain safety files for each installation, ensuring full compliance with site regulations
- Monitor and report on project progress, proactively resolving on-site challenges
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) essential
- A technical or engineering qualification advantageous
- Proven site management experience in the mechanical or HVAC industry
- Strong understanding of ducting systems and installation processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with managing site activities directly
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to various project sites
