About the Role

Manage daily site operations for ventilation and ducting installation projects in Cape Town City Centre, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate a dedicated on-site installation team
  • Conduct site visits prior to installation to assess requirements and plan resources
  • Plan projects efficiently, including the hiring of installation equipment (e.g. cranes, cherry pickers, scaffolding)
  • Prepare and maintain safety files for each installation, ensuring full compliance with site regulations
  • Monitor and report on project progress, proactively resolving on-site challenges
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders

Requirements

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee industrial cleaning operations within a plant environment for a 3-year operational project with strong potential for long-term extension and permanent placement. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, operational activities, site resources, supplier coordination, client relations, and health & safety compliance on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise approximately 74 on-site employees

• Oversee industrial cleaning and operational activities within the plant

• Coordinate equipment, operational resources, and workflow

• Liaise with and manage external suppliers

• Plan and schedule daily operational duties

• Draft and implement risk assessments and safety procedures

• Maintain strong relationships with multiple departments on site

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards

• Monitor workforce productivity and service delivery

• Report operational performance to management

Requirements

• South African citizen

• Clear criminal record

• Proven supervisory or management experience in an industrial environment
