About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Draughtsman to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings using Autodesk Inventor Software.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating 3D parametric models from created skeletons using Autodesk Inventor Software
- Generating General Arrangement (G.A) and Detail drawings for Manufacturing
- Producing manufacturing drawings
- Communicating with Design Engineers
- Giving feedback on drawing progress to the Drawing Office Manager
- Creating 3D parametric models using SKELETON MODELING
- Upholding the ISO 9001 Quality when producing drawings
Requirements
- Minimum 10 yearsâ active working experience as a Senior Mechanical Design Draughtsman or Minimum 8 yearsâ experience in Manufacturing and Fabrication
- Diploma in Mechanical Drafting
- High attention to detail
- Experience in the Mining Industry will be an added advantage
