About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Draughtsman to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings using Autodesk Inventor Software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating 3D parametric models from created skeletons using Autodesk Inventor Software
  • Generating General Arrangement (G.A) and Detail drawings for Manufacturing
  • Producing manufacturing drawings
  • Communicating with Design Engineers
  • Giving feedback on drawing progress to the Drawing Office Manager
  • Creating 3D parametric models using SKELETON MODELING
  • Upholding the ISO 9001 Quality when producing drawings

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ active working experience as a Senior Mechanical Design Draughtsman or Minimum 8 years’ experience in Manufacturing and Fabrication
  • Diploma in Mechanical Drafting
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience in the Mining Industry will be an added advantage
