Job Summary
Key Responsibility:
- Preparing and analysing financial statements for property entities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Managing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow for property portfolios and developments.
- Ensuring full compliance with IFRS, SARS regulations, and property-related tax legislation (e.g. VAT on property transactions).
- Handling lease accounting, rental income tracking, and service charge reconciliations.
- Liaising with auditors, property managers, and asset management teams to support audits and provide key financial insights.
Skills & Requirements:
- BCom in Accounting, Finance, o
- 3+ years’ experience in financial accounting within the property industry
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT implications on property transactions, and sectional title accounting (advantageous).
- Hands-on experience with property ERP systems (e.g. MDA, MRI, or similar).
