As the Finance Manager , youll take ownership of the entire finance function. Your scope will include financial management and reporting , budgeting and forecasting , compliance and governance , payroll oversight , and operational finance This role provides exposure across diverse industries and entities, requiring a confident, detail-oriented professional who enjoys both technical excellence and people leadership Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly/annual accounts, board reports, and manage audits Budgeting & Cash Flow: Oversee budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and daily cash flow Compliance: Ensure tax, statutory, and regulatory compliance (SARS, CIPC, PBO reporting) Operations: Manage creditors, debtors, payroll, insurance, and property cost reconciliations People Management: Lead and develop the finance team, oversee performance and payroll Strategic Support: Provide financial insights for decision-making and manage ad hoc tasks Job Experience and Skills Required: Minimum 5 years experience in a Finance Manager or senior accounting role Proven track record in managing teams (12 direct reports or more) Strong knowledge of management accounts, audits, budgeting, and compliance Skilled in cash flow management, financial reporting, and variance analysis Proficiency in South African tax, company, and trust legislation Experience with foreign currencies and international entities (advantageous) Advanced Excel and accounting systems knowledge Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills High energy, positive attitude, and ability to work in a dynamic environment Apply now!

Purpose of the Role Responsible for the full financial management and reporting function of the company Ensuring sound financial controls, strategic financial planning, and data-driven insights. Work closely with the Financial Director and key business units such as Procurement, Operations, and Production to drive profitability growth. Financial Management & Reporting Lead the financial reporting cycle Management accounts to presentations and audited financial statements Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Financial controls that balance compliance Deliver insightful financial reports that drive exco decisions. Business Partnering & Collaboration Partner with Procurement, Supply Chain, Im / Export, Manufacturing and Planning Track product performance, margins, and profitability Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Develop dashboards Translate trends in sales, margins, and customer behaviour Drive smarter, faster decision-making across the business through data. Job Description

Key responsibilities: Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (FRS102 / IFRS as applicable). Oversee balance sheet management including reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and working capital. Produce accurate cashflow forecasts and manage liquidity. Prepare and present financial insights, variance analyses, and KPI reporting to senior leadership. Maintain strong financial controls, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and audit requirements. Manage internal and external audit processes. Oversee tax compliance (VAT, corporation tax, payroll & other statutory filings. Manage, develop, and mentor the finance team. Set clear objectives, promoting a culture of accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Training and guidance to non-finance colleagues. Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic initiatives Prepare & present financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders Requirements: Degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent) Minimum 2-3 years industry experience CA(SA) (preferable) Experience in a reputable Accounting Firm and/or investment banking (preferable) Ambitious, tenacious, and a self-starter Experience with Power BI (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities / Duties Manage the full finance function, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and statutory requirements. Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Coordinate audits and liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities. Evaluate investment opportunities and support property portfolio financial management. Qualifications & Requirement Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (BCom Accounting/Finance). Professional qualification preferred Minimum 3 years experience in financial management, ideally in the property or real estate sector. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and property accounting. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Job Description

Responsibilities: Lead the preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and key financial reports. Advise senior management on performance, risks, and opportunities. Oversee cash flow, manage banking relationships, and ensure optimal capital and liquidity management. Manage the annual audit process, liaise with auditors, and perform the final review and sign-off of statutory submissions (VAT, Income Tax, and Provisional Tax). Provide high-level financial oversight across all revenue-generating streams â including properties, co-working spaces, and events â ensuring profitability and operational efficiency. Oversee legal and compliance frameworks in collaboration with the Compliance Coordinator , ensuring all contracts, leases, and corporate documentation are accurate and compliant. Supervise the financial administration of the property portfolio, including maintenance cost tracking, tenant billing accuracy, and deposit management. Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial, HR, and operational policies to ensure best practices and mitigate risk. Lead, mentor, and support the Finance Lead, Revenue Coordinator, and Compliance Coordinator, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture. Step in to provide hands-on support during critical periods â including payment runs, reconciliations, and financial reporting cycles. Requirements: A relevant finance degree (CA(SA) or CIMA highly advantageous). 5â7 yearsâ experience in a senior finance management role, overseeing multi-functional teams and diverse operations. Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, tax, HR, and audit regulations within the South African context. Experience using QuickBooks and HR systems; property finance experience is critical . Proven strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to integrate financial insight into operational and business decisions. Excellent communication and leadership skills , with the ability to guide and inspire a small, high-performing team. Exceptional organisational ability, attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesÂ Financial Strategy & Commercial Analysis: Lead and review all key financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts. Provide strategic insights, risk evaluation, and commercial guidance to senior management. Statutory Oversight & Audit Management: Manage the full annual audit process and act as the final reviewer and signatory for all statutory submissions (VAT, Income Tax, Provisional Tax) prepared by the Finance Lead. Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow, capital planning, treasury functions, and banking relationships to ensure financial stability and optimal liquidity. Compliance & Legal Governance: Oversee the compliance and legal framework in collaboration with the Compliance Coordinator. Ensure all contracts, commercial leases, and corporate documentation are accurate, compliant, and commercially sound. Revenue & Commercial Strategy: Provide high-level oversight across all revenue-generating activities, including co-working, events, properties, and new revenue streams. Support pricing, modelling, and yield optimisation. Commercial Property Performance: Manage and analyse the property portfolioâs financial performance, including rental yields, lease profitability, tenant billing, and deposit management. Policy & Risk Management: Develop, update, and maintain all financial, HR, and operational policies to ensure best practices and mitigate risk. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support the Finance Lead, Revenue Coordinator, and Compliance Coordinator to create a collaborative, high-performance team culture. Operational Support: Step in during key periods to provide hands-on support with daily operations â including reconciliations, payment runs, and month-end responsibilities. What Youâll Bring Industry Experience (Essential): 5â7 years in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within Commercial Property, Asset Management, or Professional Services. (Manufacturing, Logistics, or Agriculture backgrounds will not be suitable.) Commercial Acumen: Proven experience in strategic decision-making, pricing models, revenue optimisation, and profitability analysis. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of South African finance, HR, tax, and compliance regulations. Solid understanding of accounting principles and systems (QuickBooks essential). Property finance and lease structuring experience are critical. Qualifications: A relevant finance degree is required. CA(SA) or CIMA highly advantageous. Reporting into the FD you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing and reporting financial and management information. This role will be responsible for offering insights and financial advice that will facilitate best business decisions for the company. Key performance areas Manage finance team members providing guidance and training. • Review business budgets and forecasts. • Preparation of BBBEE schedules and scorecard on a monthly basis. • Ensure finance team completes monthly/quarterly deliverables in line with Group deadlines. • Review and approve monthly general ledger reconciliations. • Coordinates the preparation of the external audit materials. • Prepare and review financial reports for monthly management meetings. • Review weekly cash flow forecasts and evaluate and investigate variances. • Prepare annual tax return schedules and tax calculations. • Review and approve statutory statutory/government returns (example SARB returns and Stats SA) • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
