About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our design and production team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality mechanical components and systems that meet project requirements. Your expertise in reverse engineering and CAD software will enable you to drive seamless integration between design and production, ensuring manufacturability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality mechanical components and systems aligned with project requirements
  • Reverse-engineer measuring equipment, analysing existing designs to recreate, improve, and optimise performance
  • Translate concepts into detailed engineering drawings and production-ready designs
  • Drive seamless integration between design and production, ensuring manufacturability and efficiency

Key Responsibilities

  • Design grid‑tied and hybrid solar PV systems for commercial and industrial applications
