About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented SHEQ Officer to join our team in Germiston. This permanent role is ideal for someone passionate about maintaining and improving Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality standards across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal and supplier audits
  • Monitor and maintain SHEQ compliance
  • Identify hazards, risks, and non-conformances with corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate SHEQ documentation and reports
  • Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis
  • Conduct workplace inspections and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide guidance to staff on SHEQ procedures and best practices
  • Prepare for external audits and ensure documentation compliance

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Quality, Health & Safety
  • Internal and supplier audit experience
  • ISO Audit experience (ISO 9001:2015)
  • Formal qualification in Health & Safety / ISO
  • Strong knowledge of compliance regulations and quality management systems
  • Computer literacy (SAP experience advantageous)

Salary & Benefits

R35,000 – R45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
