About the Role

Mpact Corrugated Gauteng is seeking a commercially savvy Sales Representative to drive growth and build lasting partnerships. As a key account manager, you will interact with both new and existing customers, understand their packaging needs, and manage the sales process from prospecting to after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the annual sale plan in terms of volume, revenue, and profitability
  • Build solid customer partnerships, including corporate and multi-national clients
  • Gather market intelligence by performing market research to identify opportunities
  • Understand customer requirements, offer technical support, and solution sell
  • Actively build and expand the area sales footprint
  • Handle the resolution of customer complaints
  • Achieve selling price targets and annual price increases
  • Prepare and present Sales Reports
  • Ensure timely and correct deliveries to customers
  • Support innovation and product development
  • Deliver marketing presentations and business reviews to key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Commerce, Sales or Commercial qualification
  • 5 years proven experience in the sales, marketing or business development role in a specialist or senior role within the paper / corrugated / packaging / FMCG industry
  • The capacity to flourish in a competitive environment
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Customer-centric, with the ability to communicate with customers at all levels
  • Managing risks and critical thinking
  • Communicating with influence
  • Drive for results
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Fluent in English
  • Sound technical understanding and problem-solving customer-related problems

Job Description

Were looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. The successful candidate will achieve sales targets and business goals by effectively servicing existing customers, acquiring new ones, and increasing overall sales performance. Key Responsibilities: Service existing and new customers effectively by maintaining a regular call pattern. Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers. Acquire new customers and develop new business opportunities. Grow sales at existing customers through proactive engagement and follow-up. Ensure that customers maintain sufficient stock levels. Identify and resolve customer challenges promptly and professionally. Maintain a professional and business-focused attitude in all transactions. Manage administrative duties, including timely and accurate reporting. Maintain excellent client relationship management practices. Collaborate across departments to deliver tailored solutions for client needs. Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile): Minimum 5 years experience in construction and/or industrial product sales. Minimum qualification: Grade 12 (Matric). A sales or marketing qualification will be advantageous. Strong knowledge of construction products and clients. Willingness to travel for country trips when required. Flexibility to work after hours when necessary. Valid, unendorsed drivers license. Computer literate with strong administrative skills.
