About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing creditors, processing supplier invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full creditors function with accuracy and efficiency
  • Process supplier invoices and payments in line with company policies
  • Maintain and update the creditors Masterfile on Sage Evolution
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Prepare and process supplier reconciliations, resolving discrepancies timeously
  • Maintain well-organised and compliant supplier records
  • Liaise with suppliers on queries, statements, and outstanding payments
  • Load supplier payments on the banking platforms
  • Process and reconcile creditor payments with correct allocations
  • Assist with general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
  • Prepare and assist with financial reports when required
  • Maintain financial records in line with internal controls and regulatory compliance
  • Perform general office administration duties including stationery orders, courier arrangements and other tasks

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within an accounting role
  • Manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous

Qualifications

  • Completed tertiary qualification in finance or accounting
  • Completed Matric

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, responsible for managing the full accounting function and providing financial leadership to the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate and timeous financial records
  • Manage the full accounting function including payments, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial controls
  • Oversee payroll processing and HR-related administrative duties
  • Monitor and analyse financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
  • Assist external accountants with VAT, PAYE, provisional tax, and annual financial statements
  • Support the implementation and integration of a new inventory system
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Liaise directly with the Director regarding financial reporting and performance

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting (Honours advantageous but not essential)
  • 35 years experience in a similar full-function accounting role
  • Experience in a commercial, manufacturing, or stock-driven environment advantageous
  • Payroll experience essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working on XERO Accounting software
  • Exposure to inventory systems advantageous

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As an integral member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, as well as providing support to external auditors and tax consultants. Key Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • Prepare reconciliations for balance sheet, bank accounts, fixed assets, and corporate cards.
  • Process and manage intercompany billing and reconciliations.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and run depreciation schedules.
  • Support month-end reporting cycles.
  • Track actual expenditure against budget and analyse expense trends/ variances.
  • Process and manage supplier payments, customer collections, and open items.
  • Support external auditors and tax consultants with required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate VAT entries and ensure compliance with SARS invoice requirements.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns (VAT, income tax, provisional tax, etc.) accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow daily.
  • Payroll Process and manage payroll.
  • Prepare and submit EMP201, IRP5 and EMP501 returns accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate leave records for all employees.
  • Administer a cloud-based administration and filing system for all entities.
  • Assist with SARS queries and registrations.
  • Maintain CIPC documentation and annual return filing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2–5 years of accounting experience (depending on seniority level)
  • Experience in a multinational environment beneficial
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Sage and Xero) and Excel

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our fast-paced and evolving IT and technology group in the beautiful leafy southern suburbs of Cape Town.   • Capture and reconcile debtors and creditors accounts.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts.

  • Maintain and enforce internal controls.
  • Control and maintain the asset register.
  • Complete and submit all regulatory returns.
  • Manage all SARS-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and relevant legislation in both South Africa and Namibia.
  • Manage monthly payroll processes.
  • Capture and process supplier payments.
  • Address ad hoc accounting queries and operational requests as needed.

Requirements

  • Education: BCom in Accounting or equivalent qualification (required).
  • Financial Accounting Honours degree (advantageous).
  • Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and relevant financial legislation.
  • Strong understanding of VAT and tax legislation.
  • Proficiency in Xero Accounting (required).
  • Knowledge of SimplePay (advantageous).
  • Advanced computer literacy, especially in Excel.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accounting services, managing insurance policies, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This is a great opportunity for a skilled accountant to work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain Fixed Asset Register (FAR)
  • Update and maintain Insurance sheet
  • Calculate and journalize depreciation on assets
  • Review insurance policy every three months and keep updated and communicate with appropriate managers
  • Handle all insurance claims and processing of appropriate journals
  • Supply the monthly split between applicable entities’ insurance premium for the finance recharges
  • Adhoc accounting journals when needed
  • Scrutinize all invoices being paid to confirm that all assets were captured to the relevant Balance Sheet accounts and insured if necessary
  • Monthly capture stock journals for all business units and check accuracy and completeness of information
  • Bank management
  • Load online payments as per payment run schedule and ensure that the previous payments were released
  • Save proof of payments of all payments on finance network
  • Manage balances of bank accounts to earn maximum interest (Money Market)
  • Print bank statements daily and save on finance drive for access to all necessary parties
  • Reconciliation of all bank accounts by 3rd working day of the following month
  • Send bank balances to MD and FM weekly on Fridays
  • Loading of 3G Data
  • Other admin related tasks with regards to banking partner
  • Fleet Cards and Credit Card Reconcile and capture the monthly fleet card statement
  • Reconcile and capture the monthly credit card statement
  • Manage all credit card transactions and recon
  • Month-end reporting
  • In tandem with other accountants’ review Profit and Loss by Business Unit before compiling the management accounts to ensure all transactions were allocated to the correct GL and Business unit
  • Monthly Tax Provisions
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Intercompany invoices and reconciliation of intercompany loan accounts
  • Provisions if applicable
  • Processing of monthly fixed recharges
  • Commission calculations and payouts
  • Calculate commissions payable to Stakeholders and CRE’s by the 25th of each month
  • Communicate commission breakdown to HR and CRE’s
  • Capture invoices
  • Communication with teams on their recharges, expenses and sales
  • Send out the GL and Income Statement for each Business Unit after the month-end management reports have been finalized
  • VAT for the Group
  • Calculate, reconcile, and complete VAT return on e-filing timely every month for the applicable companies
  • Keep updated on any SARS communication received with regards to VAT and liaise with SARS with regards to unpaid VAT claims and SARS reviews

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to provide support within our digital assets space. The ideal candidate will be able to take charge of daily financial functions independently, with limited oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing daily financial operations and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records
  • Preparing and posting journals with strong proficiency in QuickBooks required
  • Producing monthly management accounts, including detailed P&L and balance sheet reviews
  • Conducting budgeting processes, financial reporting, and variance analysis

  • Overseeing payment workflows, account reconciliations, and ongoing cash flow monitoring

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing accurate financial reporting. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain Fixed Asset Register (FAR)
  • Update and maintain Insurance sheet
  • Calculate and journalize depreciation on assets
  • Review insurance policy every three months and keep updated and communicate with appropriate managers
  • Handle all insurance claims and processing of appropriate journals
  • Supply the monthly split between applicable entities insurance premium for the finance recharges
  • Adhoc accounting journals when needed
  • Scrutinize all invoices being paid to confirm that all assets were captured to the relevant Balance Sheet accounts and insured if necessary
  • Monthly capture stock journals for all business units and check accuracy and completeness of information
  • Load online payments as per payment run schedule and ensure that the previous payments were released
  • Save proof of payments of all payments on finance network
  • Manage balances of bank accounts to earn maximum interest (Money Market)
  • Print bank statements daily and save on finance drive for access to all necessary parties
  • Reconciliation of all bank accounts by 3rd working day of the following month
  • Send bank balances to MD and FM weekly on Fridays
  • Loading of 3G Data
  • Other admin related tasks with regards to banking partner
  • Reconcile and capture the monthly fleet card statement
  • Reconcile and capture the monthly credit card statement
  • Manage all credit card transactions and recon
  • Month-end reporting
  • In tandem with other accountants review Profit and Loss by Business Unit before compiling the management accounts to ensure all transactions were allocated to the correct GL and Business unit
  • Monthly Tax Provisions
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Intercompany invoices and reconciliation of intercompany loan accounts
  • Provisions if applicable
  • Processing of monthly fixed recharges
  • Commission calculations and payouts
  • Calculate commissions payable to Stakeholders and CREs by the 25th of each month
  • Communicate commission breakdown to HR and CREs
  • Capture invoices
  • Communication with teams on their recharges, expenses and sales
  • Send out the GL and Income Statement for each Business Unit after the month-end management reports have been finalized
  • Calculate, reconcile, and complete VAT return on e-filing timely every month for the applicable companies
  • Keep updated on any SARS communication received with regards to VAT and liaise with SARS with regards to unpaid VAT claims and SARS reviews

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, responsible for providing financial accounting and reporting services to support business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in multinational environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • Prepare reconciliations for balance sheet, bank accounts, fixed assets, and corporate cards.
  • Process and manage intercompany billing and reconciliations.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and run depreciation schedules.
  • Support month-end reporting cycles.
  • Track actual expenditure against budget and analyse expense trends/ variances.
  • Process and manage supplier payments, customer collections, and open items.
  • Support external auditors and tax consultants with required documentation.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns (VAT, income tax, provisional tax, etc.) accurately and on time.
  • Maintain financial confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow daily.
  • Payroll Process and manage payroll.
  • Prepare and submit EMP201, IRP5 and EMP501 returns accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate leave records for all employees.
  • Administer review and monitor deliverables for the house manager(s) along with Operations.
  • Maintain a cloud-based administration and filing system for all entities.
  • Assist with SARS queries and registrations.
  • Maintain CIPC documentation and annual return filing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 25 years of accounting experience (depending on seniority level)
  • Experience in a multinational environment beneficial
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Sage and Xero) and Excel

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling financial statements, processing loans and repayments, and managing cashflows, among other key tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconciling submitted EMP 201’s, 501’s to payroll 12m report
  • Correcting processing of loans, repayments, deductions
  • Processing of applicable recharges
  • Managing intercompany debtors and creditors
  • Loading and verifying of bi-weekly payment
  • Ensuring salary payments are successfully made
  • Processing monthly fixed re-occurring invoicing and journals
  • Timeously completion and distribution of commissions
  • Assisting and managing compilation of the audit files
  • Calculating VAT and submitting VAT 201′

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as Accountant
  • Experienced working with intercompany transactions (non-negotiable)
  • Knowledgeable of Income tax and VAT Laws (advantageous)
  • Knowledgeable of IFRS and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile EMP201 and EMP501 submissions against annual payroll reports
  • Oversee accurate processing of employee expenses, loans, and deductions
  • Ensure complete and accurate processing of all intercompany recharges
  • Review and post monthly recurring invoices and journals, including fees and provisions
  • Manage intercompany balances and monthly loan netting
  • Authorise and validate bi-weekly payment runs in line with internal controls
  • Ensure successful salary and operational payments via banking platforms
  • Oversee end-to-end corporate credit card processing and payments
  • Manage treasury and cash flow across accounts to optimise interest returns
  • Review, approve, and distribute commission calculations for payroll
  • Support EMP501 submissions in collaboration with HR
  • Provide clear, timely financial communication and respond to business queries
  • Prepare, review, and distribute monthly management and reporting packs
  • Maintain audit files and manage audit queries with the Financial Manager

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of IFRS and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Working knowledge of income tax and VAT legislation is advantageous
  • High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail

About the Role

The Accountant role is a critical position that requires strong financial management skills to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee expenses, loans, and deductions. The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling payroll submissions, managing intercompany balances, and maintaining audit files.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile EMP201 and EMP501 submissions to annual payroll reports
  • Oversee accurate processing of employee expenses, loans, and deductions
  • Ensure accurate and complete processing of all recharges
  • Review and process monthly recurring invoicing and journals, including fees and provisions
  • Manage intercompany balances and monthly loan offsetting
  • Authorise and verify bi-weekly payment runs in line with controls
  • Ensure successful salary and operational payments via banking platforms
  • Oversee end-to-end corporate credit card payments
  • Manage treasury and cash flow across accounts to optimise interest
  • Review, approve, and distribute commission calculations for payroll
  • Support EMP501 submissions in collaboration with HR
  • Prepare, review, and distribute monthly management and compilation packs

Requirements

  • IFRS and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles knowledge
  • Income tax and VAT Laws knowledge advantageous
  • Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team based in Century City, Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of core accounting principles and strong technical ability to interpret financial data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records in line with accounting standards and best practices
  • Process end-to-end accounting entries, ensuring correct recognition, classification, and measurement
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including income statement and balance sheet reviews
  • Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
  • Ensure accurate interaction between the balance sheet and income statement, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and provisions
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure the integrity of financial data within Xero
  • Review transactional postings to ensure technical accounting accuracy
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Support cash flow monitoring and working capital management
  • Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations
  • Assist with audit preparation, including supporting schedules and technical explanations
  • Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls
  • Provide accounting guidance to junior team members or non-finance stakeholders where required

About the Role

The Accountant role is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the financial management of our company. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the full Accounts Payable function and ensuring strict adherence to deadlines and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full Accounts Payable function, processing and reconciling invoices across 40-50 active suppliers
  • Perform accurate supplier reconciliations, promptly resolving discrepancies, pricing differences, and statement queries
  • Prepare and execute weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Take full ownership of 30% bookkeeping duties
  • Ensure exceptional attention to detail when capturing, reviewing, and validating financial data
  • Maintain strong financial governance by checking your own work
  • Identify errors early and take accountability for corrections
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure invoices and supplier documentation are accurate and complete
  • Manage and maintain supplier master data
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements

Requirements

  • No less than 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Ability to bring structure, discipline and efficiency to an administrative intensive environment
  • Strong work ethic and ability to take responsibility for your own actions
  • Experience working in a high volume, fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Completed tertiary qualification would be highly advantageous

Completed Matric (Grade 12)
