Job Description

A independent property and asset management team, are looking to employ a Financial Accountant to join their small, high-performance team with strong values and a focus on excellence. Fantastic opportunity, report to the CFO. Why join this team? Contribute to a growing organisation in the property and asset management sector Work closely with executives and investors, gaining exposure to strategic finance Be part of a small, collaborative team where your work has impact What you will be doing: Produce financial models to support property acquisitions Support funding negotiations with bankers Prepare detailed monthly cash flow forecasts for investors and banks Supply valuation data and review external property valuations Produce annual financial statements compliant with IFRS and SA regulations Manage tax submissions and maintain compliance with all statutory requirements Oversee external audit processes Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis and variance reporting Collaborate with property and asset managers on annual budgets Manage municipal rates accounts, reviews, objections and appeals Review monthly investor statements and prepare commentary Prepare quarterly, semi-annual and annual investor reports Manage investor drawdowns and dividend schedules Oversee implementation of finance policies and FSCA compliance Manage insurance renewals and BEE compliance Support due diligence on acquisitions and disposals Review payroll and EMP501 reconciliations Assess and enhance internal controls and IT environment What we are looking for: Minimum of a completed university degree, with a stellar academic track record Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, or completed articles plus 3 years’ experience at an accounting firm Professional affiliation advantageous (SAICA, SAIPA, CIMA, SAIBA, SAIT, etc.) Strong understanding of South African finance regulations and IFRS Experience in the property sector is preferred Exposure to FSCA compliance and reporting Skilled in budgeting, reporting, procurement processes and financial modelling Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Word and PowerPoint Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work confidently at both detail and strategic levels Assertive, efficient and easy to work with Benefits and unique aspects: High levels of exposure and responsibility in a lean, supportive team Growth opportunities and involvement in acquisition processes Please note If you haven’t heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, unfortunately your application has not been successful this time. Job Description

In this role, youll manage payroll for approximately 700 employees across multiple locations, while supporting key financial reporting and processing functions. Youll work in a collaborative environment that values accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Process monthly payroll for approximately 700 employees. Manage clocking, rosters, and time registers. Handle new hires, terminations, and payroll adjustments. Maintain accurate employee records and resolve payroll queries. Prepare statutory submissions and reconcile payroll-related GL accounts. Financial Reporting Prepare daily sales dashboards and weekly sales trackers. Compile staff turnover reports and scorecards for management review. Financial Processing Reconcile company credit card spend and payroll bank account. Process payroll cashbook entries accurately. Other Duties Manage insurance claims and finance administration. Identify cost-saving opportunities and assist with ad-hoc projects. Cross-train with team members to ensure coverage during leave. Job Description

Prepare monthly management account packs and ensure departmental sign-off Compile and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining integrity of financial statements Validate revenue accuracy and ensure proper import into accounting systems Produce monthly statistical reports and analyze cost vs. budget Identify cost-saving opportunities and assist with cost control measures Calculate and reconcile VAT payable; prepare annual income tax calculations for review Manage project-related activities, homeowner profiles, and fee structures Oversee cash flow forecasting, petty cash reconciliations, and procurement processes Perform detailed cost of sales analysis and manage stock control, including counts and journals Ensure accurate payroll time sheet submissions and maintain fixed asset register Prepare monthly depreciation journals, accounts receivable, and creditors reconciliations Compile annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and audit files; respond to audit queries Build strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors Handle ad hoc financial requests as needed Skills and Experience: Minimum 35 years of experience in a similar accounting role Background in hospitality, restaurant, or FMCG/retail environments is a strong advantage Ability to commute daily to Camps Bay reliably and on time Qualification: Matric Minimum of a BCom Finance Qualification Completed articles will be beneficial Contact Tatum Robinson on

Job Description

Im partnering with my client to find a Financial Accountant whose expertise wont just be utilized it will be valued and relied upon. If youre driven to take ownership of the full finance function and thrive in environments where your judgment and independence truly matter, this opportunity is for you. We are looking for a seasoned and reliable Financial Accountant, to provide support within the digital assets space. This role requires someone who can immediately take charge of daily financial functions and operate independently with limited oversight. Key Responsibilities: Managing daily financial operations and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records. Preparing and posting journals, with strong proficiency in QuickBooks required. Producing monthly management accounts, including detailed P&L and balance sheet reviews. Conducting budgeting processes, financial reporting, and variance analysis. Coordinating with our Cayman-based team on financial reporting, commentary, and deliverables. Overseeing payment workflows, account reconciliations, and ongoing cash flow monitoring. Ensuring adherence to internal controls, KYC procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Communicating directly with clients and external service providers to support financial inquiries and deliverables. Job Experience and Skills Required: Strong grasp in accounting principles (formal qualification preferred). 23 years of post-qualification experience in finance / accounting. Proven experience preparing management accounts and managing end-to-end finance operations. Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting platforms. Able to work independently with minimal guidance a proactive self-starter. Demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism, and a high level of accountability. Confident communicator capable of engaging effectively with senior and international stakeholders. Apply now!
