This opportunity suits a hands-on, analytical individual who thrives under pressure and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-moving team. Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for multiple entities. Perform reconciliations and manage general ledger processes. Handle FOREX transactions, sales, and revenue recognition. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Support audit processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance function. Qualifications & Experience: BCom Accounting or CIMA. Minimum 23 years accounting experience in a similar role. Job Description

This position provides an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to gain exposure to multi-entity reporting, revenue and sales accounting, and foreign currency transactions. It is ideally suited to an individual who performs well under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports across multiple entities. Maintain general ledger processes and perform account reconciliations. Manage FOREX transactions, sales, and revenue recognition activities. Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis. Support external audit activities and ensure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies. Identify and implement process improvement initiatives within the finance department. Qualifications and Experience: BCom Accounting, CIMA, AGA(SA), or an equivalent professional qualification. 23 years experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role. Demonstrated experience managing multiple entities and working in a complex accounting environment. Strong technical knowledge of FOREX, revenue, and sales accounting. High attention to detail with excellent time management and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Job Description

Qualifications Matric A minimum of a BCom degree Requirements Five years proven experience in handling the accounting responsibility for a medium-sized concern, preferably in a warehousing or sales and distribution environment Proven competence in the handling of all aspects of operational finance A working knowledge of Xero and Cin7 or similar ERP systems, excellence in Microsoft Office and advanced numeracy and Excel skills Ability to function and interact at senior level in the company Duties Will be responsible for the full accounting function of the division which includes: ensuring accurate accounting of all company transactions Reporting to the Exco on all financial matters Overseeing the preparation of monthly and annual financial management accounts Overseeing the management of stock Preparing and monitoring the implementation of company budgets and forecasts Attending to and overseeing internal audits Managing company asset information Ongoing analysis, revision and implementation of financial systems Managing foreign currency payments Assisting with company costing exercises Performing financial analysis and advising management on strategic finances Managing the financial services staff, including but not limited to proactive follow-up of queries, variances and conducting investigations to resolve all issues Overseeing payroll administration Overseeing of collection of debtors collection Completing and submitting statutory returns and reports Managing cashflow. Job Description

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Financial Accountant to manage our companys accounting, reporting, and compliance functions. The role involves preparing accurate financial statements, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and providing insights that support effective decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Key Responsibilities Prepare, examine, and analyse financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, IFRS and regulatory requirements. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Reconcile accounts, monitor general ledger entries, and resolve discrepancies. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting processes. Assisting with Treasury functions, foreign exposures to minimise forex risk. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure timely submission of tax filings and regulatory reports. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making. Qualifications & Skills Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proven experience as a Financial Accountant with 7 years or more Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics BC 365, Sage Accounting, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities: Manage full financial accounting function, including intense month-end reporting. Prepare revenue and sales reporting for multiple entities. Handle FOREX-related transactions and multi-currency reconciliations. Compile management reporting packs and financial statements. Perform budgeting support, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations. Engage with stakeholders across the business to ensure accuracy of financial data. Qualification and Skills Required: BCom / CIMA / AGA (SA) or similar finance qualification (essential). 23 years experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role. Experience working with multiple entities , revenue and sales reporting, and FOREX. Advanced Excel proficiency and strong financial reporting skills. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure within an intense reporting environment. Whats In It for Me (WIIFM)? Job Description

Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit cash flow forecasts and reports Manage and control capital expenditure (CAPEX) workflows Perform balance sheet reconciliations and capture monthly journals Conduct internal audits on processes and cost controls Manage accounts payable and supplier payment cycles Review and manage IFRS 16 lease contracts Control and maintain instalment sale agreements Support external audits and respond to audit queries Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures Manage verification and movement processes for fixed assets Qualifications & Experience Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 57 years of experience in a financial accounting or related role Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Experience with SYSPRO will be an advantage, but is not crucial Manufacturing industry experience will be a strong advantage Skills & Attributes Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards Excellent organizational and communication skills Analytical thinker with sound problem-solving ability Capable of working both independently and collaboratively Strategic mindset with strength in forecasting and reporting Total CTC before deductions : R60 000.00 non negotiable Application Process: Interested candidates should submit the following documentation: CV Qualifications 2 x most recent payslips Only candidates meeting the specified criteria will be considered If you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of submitting your application, please consider your application unsuccessful .
