About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Accountant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading and developing a small finance team, optimising financial systems and processes, and ensuring statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a small finance team
- Optimise financial systems and processes
- Ensure statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts
- Manage audits, tax submissions, cash flow, and treasury
- Deliver group reporting
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years experience
- Qualification: SAIPA/SAICA
- Staff management experience
- Pastel will be advantageous
