Johannesburg: Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities: Manage the full HR function including onboarding, contracts, disciplinary processes, and leave management Oversee full payroll function including salaries, EMP201 submissions, and EMP501 biannual reconciliations Prepare and submit VAT201 returns accurately and on time Upload and reconcile bank statements daily Compile creditors files, prepare payment runs and manage supplier queries Prepare debtors statements, manage age analysis, and follow up on outstanding accounts Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs Assist in drafting annual financial statements Communicate professionally with customers and suppliers regarding queries, statements, and documentation Perform general administrative and ad-hoc duties as required Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Relevant financial qualification advantageous Experience: Minimum 3 years in an all-round accounting, payroll, and HR administration role (non-negotiable) Technical: Strong working knowledge of SAP (essential) Advanced Excel skills (pivots, VLOOKUPs, formulas) Experience with SARS eFiling, VAT, PAYE, SDL, UIF, EMP201 & EMP501 submissions Skills: Excellent English communication (verbal & written) High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organisational and administrative abilities Apply now!
