About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in the beautiful, leafy southern suburbs of Cape Town. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success and governance of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Document financial transactions by entering and verifying account information.
- Prepare monthly financial reports.
- Perform monthly cash flow forecasting and control.
- Prepare annual financial statements.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget.
- Capture and reconcile debtors and creditors accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile inter-company loan accounts.
- Maintain and enforce internal controls.
- Control and maintain the asset register.
- Complete and submit all regulatory returns.
- Manage SARS-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and relevant legislation in both South Africa and Namibia.
- Manage monthly payroll processes.
- Capture and process supplier payments.
- Address ad hoc accounting queries and operational requests as needed.

- Education: BCom in Accounting or equivalent qualification (required).
- Financial Accounting Honours degree (advantageous).
