Job Description

Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Record daily financial transactions such as purchases, expenses, receipts, and sales invoices in the accounting system with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring all supporting documentation is maintained Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records to confirm accuracy and completeness, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly Manage accounts payable and receivable processes by issuing invoices, processing payments, and following up on overdue accounts to maintain healthy cash flow Maintain and update the general ledger by posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the integrity of financial data Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing recommendations to management based on findings Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations, assist with tax returns and other regulatory filings Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, offering explanations, and implementing audit recommendations Reconcile inventory accounts in the general ledger monthly, analyze variances between physical stock and recorded balances, and support inventory valuation and reporting for financial statements Skills & Experience: SAP ORACLE ODOO Qualification: Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma in Accounting Minimum 3 to 5 years experience Connect with us on

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Manage the full accounting function , including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with financial reporting. Handle budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decisions. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with VAT and other statutory submissions. Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Qualification and Skills Required: BCom Accounting degree (essential). SAICA articles preferred . Minimum 2 years post-articles experience in a similar role. Industry experience in FMCG, warehousing, or exports is advantageous but not essential. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; ERP system experience beneficial. Job Description

Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 25 years of accounting experience (depending on seniority level) Experience in a multinational environment beneficial Proficiency in accounting software (Sage and Xero) and Excel Responsibilities: Financial accounting and reporting Process and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and journals. Prepare reconciliations for balance sheet, bank accounts, fixed assets, and corporate cards. Process and manage intercompany billing and reconciliations. Maintain fixed asset registers and run depreciation schedules. Support month-end reporting cycles. Track actual expenditure against budget and analyse expense trends/ variances. Process and manage supplier payments, customer collections, and open items. Support external auditors and tax consultants with required documentation. Maintain accurate VAT entries and ensure compliance with SARS invoice requirements. Prepare and submit tax returns (VAT, income tax, provisional tax, etc.) accurately and on time. Maintain financial confidentiality and data integrity. Monitor and manage cash flow daily. Payroll Process and manage payroll. Prepare and submit EMP201, IRP5 and EMP501 returns accurately and on time. Maintain accurate leave records for all employees. Admin Review and monitor deliverables for the house manager(s) along with Operations. Maintain a cloud-based administration and filing system for all entities. Opening bank accounts and maintaining user profiles on bank accounts. Assist with SARS queries and registrations. Maintain CIPC documentation and annual return filing. A dynamic and fast-paced environment is looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee daily financial processing, hedge accounting, consolidations, and project-related financial workflows. Job Description

Step into a role where technical accounting meets complexity, precision, and high-impact decision-making. This organisation is looking for an Accountant who is ready to take ownership of financial processing, hedge accounting, consolidations, and reporting across multiple entities. Youll manage everything from daily transactions to multi-entity consolidations – and play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial clarity across the group. This is an excellent opportunity for a post-articles candidate who wants broad exposure and the chance to influence systems, controls, and the overall financial backbone of a growing business. Key Responsibilities: Process daily financial transactions including AP, AR, and GL entries Execute vendor and internal payments accurately and on time Manage bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances Prepare cash flow forecasts and assist with liquidity planning Compile and analyse monthly management and financial reports Support month-end and year-end processes Apply accurate hedge accounting and maintain required documentation Coordinate hedge transactions and report on positions and performance Consolidate financial information across multiple entities Reconcile and eliminate inter-company transactions Prepare audit documentation and respond to audit queries Strengthen financial controls, processes, and system workflows Assist with financial structures for new projects and initiatives Job Experience and Skills Required: Bachelors Degree in Accounting (essential) Completed SAICA articles at a registered audit firm Minimum 2 years post-articles experience Experience with hedge accounting and financial consolidations (non-negotiable) Strong understanding of cost accounting and standard costing Experience in a multi-entity environment is advantageous High attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and excellent communication skills Able to prioritise effectively and perform under pressure Organised, proactive, and collaborative in a team environment Apply now! Job Description

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate daily financial records, processing accounting transactions, and ensuring timely submissions and payments. Key duties include assisting with bank reconciliations, cashbook and credit card processing, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. The role also involves managing creditor applications, reconciliations, and payment preparation, as well as maintaining an organized electronic filing system. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, efficiency, and a proactive approach to financial administration. Skills & Experience: Minimum 35 years experience in accounting (retail experience advantageous). Proficiency in MS Word, Excel (intermediate), and Outlook. Job Description

As the Accountant, your duties include the following: Manage the Fixed Asset Register Ensure accurate recordings, transfers, and disposals Reconcile within month-end deadlines Oversee month-end close Prepare accurate journals Review income statements Ensure timely and complete balance sheet reconciliations Maintain strict internal control standards to prevent audit findings and ensure compliance with company policies Prepare and submit Income Tax, Provisional tax and VAT returns Compile and finalize annual financial statements Liaise with internal and external auditors Monitor and implement changes to accounting standards and advise management accordingly Support broader finance initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes as the business evolves Skills & Experience: 3-5 years of experience in an Accountant position Experience from the FMCG, Manufacturing or Farming industry would be highly advantageous Proficiency in English and Afrikaans Advanced Excel skills Qualification: Completed BCom degree Contact JENELLE COOKSON on

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Analyse financial information and prepare balance sheets. Coordinate with management and staff to prepare budgets. Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures. Resolve accounts payable and receivable issues or queries. Accurately perform daily reconciliations. Comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for SMEs for financial statements. Assist in financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation. Prepare and present the monthly detailed management accounts that include cash flow, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and related schedules with analysis. Analyse cost structures and identify efficiency opportunities. Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors. Complete end-of-month close procedures. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related Finance Familiarity with software – Sage 3- 5 years of accounting work experience

Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, youll be the go-to expert for all things accounting from daily reconciliations to strategic reporting. Your days will include: Maintaining and updating debtors and creditors on internal systems. Managing daily invoicing, ensuring full tax compliance, and issuing S18A certificates weekly. Capturing and receipting bank deposits and cash intake, with accurate reconciliations. Performing bank, payroll, and creditors reconciliations, and keeping donor revenue records current. Supporting audit preparation and strengthening internal controls and budgeting processes. Assisting with payroll administration and preparing reports for Exco and the Board. Delivering sharp financial insights and analysis. Partnering with the fundraising team to provide timely, accurate financial data. Skills & Experience: 4 years of experience in debtors, creditors, and bank reconciliations. Strong financial accounting skills; experience in BEE and audits is a plus. Advanced Excel and top-notch IT proficiency. Excellent people skills you collaborate, communicate, and build trust with ease. Proven discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive data. Bonus points for experience in education or the non-profit sector. Qualification: A Degree in Accounting (BCom or BBusSci).
