Job Summary

Key Responsibilities Creditors Management : Process invoices, follow up with suppliers, resolve discrepancies, and complete account reconciliations Debtors Management : Process payments, produce statements, collect overdue accounts, and perform reconciliations Banking Operations : Process bank deposits and complete bank reconciliations General Accounting : Handle employee expenses, credit card reconciliations, invoice creation, and maintain fixed asset register Financial Reporting : Prepare monthly and year-end reports, process general journals including depreciation and provisions Record Keeping : Maintain filing systems and ensure compliance with record retention requirements Essential Qualifications & Experience Matric with Accounting Tertiary qualification in Accounting (minimum requirement) Minimum 3 years’ experience in commerce and industry Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel skills Previous experience with financial software packages essential Key Skills & Attributes Strong numerical and analytical abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with exceptional reporting capabilities Deadline-focused with strong organizational and time management skills Self-motivated with a proactive, positive attitude Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively Process-driven approach with legislative knowledge Additional Requirements Ability to work comfortably in an open office environment alongside other team members Hands-on approach with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting Friendly and approachable demeanor, open to socializing within the office Strong ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently If you havent heard back from one of our Talent Gurus within 7 days of submitting your application, we regret to let you know that your application was not successful this time around.

Job Summary

A growing manufacturing business is looking for a hands-on, detail-focused Accountant to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about financial integrity and process improvement. About the role: You’ll work closely with the Group Financial Manager to manage core accounting functions, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support the business with accurate reporting and audit readiness. Your efforts will play a key role in financial controls and continuous improvement across the business. What you’ll be doing: Managing bookkeeping and general ledger functions, including debtors and creditors Preparing monthly bank reconciliations, journal entries, and statutory returns Assisting with management accounts, budgets, and variance reporting Supporting external audits and ensuring financial systems are accurate and compliant Overseeing payroll processing and assisting with SARS submissions Monitoring stock count processes and factory shop audits What we’re looking for: BCom in Accounting or similar qualification (SAIPA Candidate ideal) 3-5 years’ experience in a full-function accounting role (post-articles preferred) Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment is a strong advantage What’s in it for you? Job Summary

Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Process supplier and customer invoices, payments, purchase orders, and account setups in Sage X3 Manage petty cash and perform reconciliations Support rebate and listing fee calculations with finance and marketing teams Revalue foreign currency balances monthly Prepare and file VAT returns; assist tax consultants Maintain fixed assets and lease registers Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, cash book, and expenses; ensure correct posting and VAT compliance Perform monthly balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations Produce management accounts with variance analysis Assist budget preparation and monitor spending Monitor bank balances and support cash flow forecasting Ensure internal controls compliance Manage payment processing, banking records, and signatories Provide audit schedules and resolve queries Help prepare IFRS financial statements using Caseware Support senior finance with analysis and ad hoc tasks Assist with government reporting and other duties as needed Skills & Experience: SAIPA/SAICA articles completed 2-3 years of expierence in a similar role Qualification: BCom degree AGA(SA) or PA(SA) registered beneficial Connect with us on

Proficiency in Xero , Sage , and Microsoft Excel Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English) Drivers license. Own transportation. Knowledge of accounting systems. Deadline driven. Computer literate. RESPONSIBILITIES: Capture financial data and process transactions up to trial balance Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements Submit VAT and EMP201 return to SARS accurately and on time Handle CIPC submissions and company applications Process monthly payroll for clients or internal staff Manage debtors and generate client invoices Prepare and maintain monthly management accounts Perform general accounting and administrative tasks as required

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable, vendor reconciliation, credit card reconciliations and cash flow requirements Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing of clients and the collection of the receivables Manage the bank reconciliation process Prepare financial statements in accordance with the applicable accounting standards, including the analysis against targets and budgets, and working with non-financial managers with the monitoring thereof Support the annual audit process Assist with the annual budgeting process Liaise with financial institutions regarding all banking transactions and provide general administration of banking facilities Identify control and procedural inefficiencies, manage change and development, and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiencies and effectiveness of the finance function Requirements: Accounting/Finance Degree 3-5 years experience as an Accountant Similar role experience highly favoured. Knowledge of South African, US, or UK tax regimes is beneficial. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, efficiency, and a proactive, enthusiastic approach to their work.

Accountant Our client delivers fully integrated, cost-effective industry expertise, business process & data management, and software services. They are a US-based company and are looking for an Accountant to work in their South African office in Century City. Workplace condition: On-site / Hybrid Position Overview Under the supervision of the Global Finance department and reporting administratively to our client’s South Africa Country Leader, this position is responsible to support the finance team to analyse the data and make financial decisions by collecting, tracking, correcting, and communicating the financial position of the client and to align with Finance processes and colleagues across the various Africa business teams. They record transactions, compile and analyse data, perform audits, assist with budgets, and financial forecasting Job Description Duties and Responsibilities: Be the Accountant for our client Remit: South Africa and align with other countries within Africa where our client operates. Finance Management: Manage financials related to South Africa operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in resource utilization. Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the financial portfolio, encouraging innovative ideas and proactive problem-solving. Complying with all company, local, Provincial, and National accounting and financial regulations. Compiling, entering, analysing, and reporting financial data. Maintaining accurate financial records. Review all the accounting documents/reports to ensure their accuracy. (i.e., bank reconciliation, journal vouchers, entries…etc). Review and approve all entries before posting them into the General Ledger and oversee the accurate posting of transactions among all different books and records. Assisting in the closing of accounts during the month-end and keeping records related to every transaction updated in the system. Responding and prioritize requests from Auditors, Tax authority and Suppliers. Review the accuracy and completion of calculated due receivable and payable balances. Paying invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements; obtaining authorization of payment. Monitoring suppliers accounts details for terms of payment, credit terms and other irregularities Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges and report to line manager Able to read bank statements and to recognize the transactions to be reconciled with the company records. Recording, review and analysing monthly accrued and prepaid expenses. Analyse the direct-indirect costs related to each project and communicates it to the high management in the company. Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance, accounting, and taxes Coordinate with the client’s Global Finance team and the external auditors during the audit phase to provide them with the needed documents. Implement an employee expense reimbursement process and administer that process to our client in South Africa Manage on behalf of the Country Leader, petty cash. Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams and departments, such as Digital and Technology Services, Marketing, and Sales, to ensure seamless communication and coordination for the benefit of overall organizational objectives. Reporting Responsibilities. Generate and analyse reports on country financial performance, presenting findings to senior leadership. Provide insights and recommendations for further improvement. Assist in preparing of taxation reports and payments. Support month-end and year-end close process and reports. Finalize Monthly accounts and report to direct manager or senior leadership. Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports related to the job responsibilities, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc. Ensure that intra-company billing occurs and that the underlying time management process is implemented, and functions optimally Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time. Authority The incumbent is authorized to take any reasonable action necessary to carry out assigned responsibilities, provided that such action is consistent with company policy, financial processes, cost-effective, and in line with the job description guidelines. Job Requirements & Specifications Accounting qualification NQF level 7 with the requisite bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting with 3 years’ experience in corporate (preferably multinationals) Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills (Advanced Excel & ERP user) Excellent knowledge of local finance and tax law Excellent English language communication skills (spoken, written) High level of accuracy & attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Comfortable with uncertainty, ambiguity, and constant change, yet able to set priorities and execute on assignments. Organizing work & prioritizing time-sensitive matters to manage work pressure Business oriented & scope on target Analytical mindset & positive thinking Effective Communication Skills that enable the incumbent to work and collaborate with colleagues based across South Africa and globally Excels at operating in a fast-paced and diverse environment. Single assignments Beside the listed job duties, there will be special assignments to be carried out based on the business need and via instructions from Group Finance, direct manager or country leadership. Those special assignments are usually connected to the job description listed activities or those assignments due to a business need or are a result of company policy.

Job Summary

Are you a meticulous finance professional with strong reconciliation and month-end experience? We’re looking for an efficient and detail-driven Accountant to join my client’s Finance team in Cape Town. This is your chance to manage key accounting functions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within the Hospitality, QSR, Retail, and FMCG sectors, from journals and reconciliations to payments, royalty calculations, and month-end reporting. What You’ll Be Doing: Process a wide range of month-end journals: including pay-outs, depreciation, petty cash, supplier imports, turnover journals, and profit share calculations Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations: franchise loan accounts, accruals, credit cards, mobile apps, and more Review and reconcile all cashbooks for accurate and timely month-end close Prepare and release payments on the banking platform within deadlines Calculate royalty and subscription fees for invoicing, ensuring accuracy before customer statements are sent Reconcile intercompany loans and accounts payable/receivable Liaise with external parties such as SARS, banks, lawyers, suppliers, and customers Reconcile IDTs between GAAP and Pastel Communicate discrepancies and potential issues timeously with the Head Accountant Step in to support team members as needed during absences or peak periods What You’ll Bring: B.Comm or B-Tech degree in Accounting 4 years’ experience in a similar accounting role Industry background in Hospitality, QSR, Retail, or FMCG is highly beneficial Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Pastel Evolution, and Pastel Payroll Fluent in English and Afrikaans (written and spoken) Your Strengths: Highly analytical with strong problem-solving capabilities Self-motivated, well-organised, and deadline-driven Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team Comfortable working in a high-pressure, deadline-focused environment Knowledgeable about up-to-date accounting principles and standards Demonstrates leadership and mentoring ability Open to feedback, responsive to change, and focused on continuous growth Why You Should Apply: If you’re looking to contribute meaningfully to a fast-paced, values-driven finance team, this role gives you the platform to manage key financial functions while being surrounded by energetic, driven professionals. Job Summary

My client is a well-established company with a national footprint, operating in a fast-paced, structured environment. Theyre looking for a hands-on accountant who will manage financial reporting, ensure compliance with tax legislation, and support external audits. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who understands the importance of accuracy, process, and professionalism in financial operations. Youll have exposure to various areas. From fixed assets and reconciliations to tax, VAT, and reporting. Requirements: Record and reconcile fixed asset transactions monthly Manage month-end close and ensure accurate journal entries Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations Submit VAT and income tax returns within legal timeframes Compile annual financial statements and support audit processes Ensure all accounting records meet legislative and internal requirements Review supplier invoices and assist with payment approval What do you need: A diploma or degree in accounting or finance 3 to 5 years experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role Strong working knowledge of Excel and accounting principles Experience with South African tax laws and reporting standards Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable managing month-end pressures Able to work well on your own and collaborate within a team If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly. Job Summary

Job description & duties: · Support the business’s accounting function. · Accurately and efficiently capture and report transactions. · Prepare and review financial transactions and reports. · Compile and prepare monthly and year-end reconciliations. · Identify and report accounting or reporting issues. · Investigate and resolve outstanding queries related to accounting issues or reconciliations. · Get involved operationally in the credit control and retention process. · Process on our policy administration system, considering the impact on operational processes and clients. · Prepare and send out monthly reports for insurers, reinsurers, and intermediaries. · Recalculate premium transactions to check system data accuracy. · Perform group scheme member premium reconciliations and liaise with groups to resolve differences and arrears. · Perform reconciliation and completeness checks between our line of business system and data warehouse reports. · Prepare and/or review statutory reporting. · Ensure company reporting deadlines are met. · Contribute to enhancing systems and processes to improve financial management. · Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders. Technical requirements: Minimum Qualifications: · Degree in Financial Management or Accounting Minimum Experience: · At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in finance, beyond just article experience. · Intermediate to advanced Excel Technical Requirements: · Solid experience and understanding of financial accounting principles, business processes, and risks. · Analytical skills.
