About the Role
We are seeking an Accountant to join our dynamic team in Cape Town City Centre. As an integral part of our finance function, you will play a key role in supporting financial decision-making and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage accounting records related to digital assets, including cryptocurrency transactions and blockchain-based financial activity.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, reconciliations, and management accounts while ensuring exceptional attention to detail.
- Monitor and record cryptocurrency movements, including wallets, exchanges, and blockchain transactions.
- Assist with financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements related to digital assets.
- Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring proper documentation and transparent financial records.
- Work closely with technical and operational teams to understand Web3 activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with implementing financial controls, processes, and systems suited to the digital asset environment.
- Contribute to process improvements within the finance function to support scalability and operational efficiency.
Requirements

Qualifications
- BCom degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
