In this pivotal role, you will be the financial architect for the plant, moving beyond compliance to become a strategic partner to the operations and commercial teams. Your focus will be on financial rigor, strategic cost management in a capital-intensive environment, and driving sustainable profitability. Key Responsibilities: Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis on key performance drivers such as metal yield, scrap rates, energy efficiency, and plant utilization. Oversee all financial operations, including month-end reporting, cash flow management, and rigorous working capital control with a focus on inventory valuation (raw materials, WIP, and finished goods) and creditor/debtor cycles. Ensure robust financial controls and full compliance with IFRS, SARS, and all statutory requirements, specifically relating to complex fixed asset accounting and capital project expenditure. Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Partner with operational leadership to evaluate Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects, providing financial modelling and post-investment appraisal to guide strategic decisions. Utilize the ERP system to its full potential to streamline cost accounting, enhance reporting accuracy, and provide real-time visibility into production costs. Job Experience & Skills Required: Completed CIMA qualification. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a finance management role, with a significant portion in a manufacturing, heavy industry, or mining environment. Proven, in-depth experience in a metal manufacturing or related heavy industry is highly advantageous. Demonstrated expertise with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP and Oracle) for financial control and manufacturing costing. The Role: Financial Manager This role exists to lead the full financial function of the manufacturing facility, ensuring robust financial governance, accurate reporting, and strong commercial decision support. You will partner closely with operations and production teams to drive efficiency, enforce financial discipline, and enhance cost and performance visibility across the business. The focus is on tightening controls, improving systems, and supporting sustainable growth through strategic financial leadership. Key Responsibilities Bring a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience as a Financial Manager within manufacturing Oversee the full financial management of the facility, including reporting, controls, and compliance Lead cash flow planning, forecasting, and liquidity management Implement cost-saving initiatives and enforce strict production-related financial discipline Strengthen operational and financial controls across production and supply chain Support manufacturing teams with accurate, data-driven insights and reporting Ensure accuracy of BOMs, costing, stock, MRP data, and production performance metrics Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, and variance analysis Maintain full compliance with South African financial, tax, and statutory standards Drive system improvements and optimise ERP/MRP utilisation Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members Oversee the rollout and implementation of a Provident Fund as a key strategic project About You 5 to 7 years of experience as a Financial Manager in manufacturing Relevant SA financial qualification (BCom, SAICA/SAIPA/AGA(SA), or CIMA completed) FMCG experience is highly advantageous; detergent manufacturing experience is a strong plus Advanced Microsoft Excel capability (pivot tables, modelling, complex formulas) Skilled in ERP/MRP systems within a production environment SQL knowledge or experience working with SQL databases (advantageous) Strong understanding of cost control, production finance, and cash flow management High attention to detail with an analytical, improvement-driven approach Strong communication skills, able to influence and hold teams accountable Commercially minded, proactive, and hands-on in supporting operations

Key Responsibilities: Consolidate branch financials and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with clear KPIs and insights for senior leadership. Monitor business performance through continuous review and variance analysis to support rapid, informed decision-making. Manage cash flow, collections, supplier payments, and liquidity across high-volume logistics operations. Ensure full compliance with IFRS, VAT, PAYE, and manage external audits efficiently. Partner with operations and branch managers to analyse route profitability, delivery cost drivers, and operational performance. Support executive leadership in pricing strategy, margin enhancement, and cost-control initiatives. Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-branch finance team; strengthen accuracy, training, and succession planning. Enhance financial systems and reporting tools integrated with logistics/tracking platforms, driving automation and data integrity. Own the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycle across all branches. Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile): BCom Accounting/Finance (Honours advantageous). 58 years experience in financial management within logistics, distribution, FMCG, or similarly fast-paced operational environments. Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, VAT, PAYE, and audit processes. Proven experience managing multi-branch reporting and leading finance teams. Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency; exposure to automation and systems integration beneficial. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence operations and strategy. Job Description

Reporting to the CFO, you will play a key role in the daily finance operations, financial reporting, and continuous improvement of controls and processes across multiple business units. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily finance operations and ensure accurate, timeous processing across all financial functions. Prepare and review monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and financial performance reports. Strengthen financial controls and ensure compliance across the region. Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning. Oversee debtors, creditors, cashbook, payroll, and finance administration activities. Perform detailed general ledger reviews and ensure accurate reconciliations. Assist the CFO with internal audits, projects, feasibility studies, and process improvements. Drive efficiencies and support the implementation of financial systems and tools. Ensure VAT, tax, and statutory submissions are accurate and compliant. Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to resolve financial queries and enhance financial effectiveness. Job Experience and Skills Required: CA(SA) required Minimum 58 years post-article experience in finance. At least 3 years experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant role. Industry experience in courier, logistics, freight, transport, or distribution advantageous. Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, and operational finance exposure. Proven leadership experience managing or supervising finance staff. Advanced MS Excel skills. Strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail. Job Description

Minimum requirements for the role: Must be a Qualified CA or CIMA ideally or similar Minimum 5 years experience as a Financial Manager or Financial Controller in a manufacturing environment Must have previous experience in preparing management accounts, compiling financial reports, dealing with tax and statutory returns Experience in managing a Financial Department is essential Must have experience working according to IFRS Internal audit experience, preferably familiar with Sox requirements Strong working knowledge and experience in costing (preferably gained in a manufacturing environment) Must have a valid driver’s license The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing the local Financial Department personnel. Being responsible for financial reporting local and international. Preparing and managing the year-end audit packs according to IFRS requirements and liaising with auditors. Completing tax and statutory returns. Performing the company secretarial function. Conducting internal audits and ensuring compliance with SOX. Managing the credit control function. Managing the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Investigating and commenting on variances against budget or forecast and liaising with management in this regard. Managing capital expenditure and maintaining the asset registers. Consulting with customers and distributors as required. Compiling and managing adherence to financial policies and procedures. This role offers exposure to cross-border reporting, compliance, international tax considerations, and complex project environments. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full financial function and ensure accurate, timely group reporting. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews. Support cross-border consolidations and assist with international tax and compliance matters. Strengthen financial controls, systems, and processes across operations. Prepare financial models and business cases to support strategic decision-making. Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team while ensuring adherence to governance standards. Assist the CFO with board packs, audits, risk management, and financial strategy initiatives. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: BCom Accounting / BCom Honours / CIMA or equivalent (CA(SA) is advantageous but not required). Experience: Minimum 810 years experience in finance roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity . Experience within engineering, construction, manufacturing, or project-based environments is essential. Exposure to cross-border operations , group reporting , or international tax is highly advantageous. Skills: Advanced Excel and strong ERP system experience. Strong analytical, reporting, and financial modelling capabilities. Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills. In this pivotal role, you will be the financial architect for the plant, moving beyond compliance to become a strategic partner to the operations and commercial teams. Your focus will be on financial rigor, strategic cost management in a capital-intensive environment, and driving sustainable profitability. Key Responsibilities: Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis on key performance drivers such as metal yield, scrap rates, energy efficiency, and plant utilization. Oversee all financial operations, including month-end reporting, cash flow management, and rigorous working capital control with a focus on inventory valuation (raw materials, WIP, finished goods) and creditor/debtor cycles. Ensure robust financial controls and full compliance with IFRS, SARS, and all statutory requirements, specifically relating to complex fixed asset accounting and capital project expenditure. Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Partner with operational leadership to evaluate Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects, providing financial modelling and post-investment appraisal to guide strategic decisions. Utilize the ERP system to its full potential to streamline cost accounting, enhance reporting accuracy, and provide real-time visibility into production costs. Job Experience & Skills Required: Completed CIMA qualification. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a finance management role, with a significant portion in a manufacturing, heavy industry, or mining environment. Proven, in-depth experience in a metal manufacturing or related heavy industry is highly advantageous. Demonstrated expertise with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial control and manufacturing costing. Job Description

Minimum Requirements Matric B.Com Accounting / Finance is essential CA(SA) or CIMA designation highly advantageous Valid Drivers License & Own Vehicle Minimum 5-10 years post articles experience, ideally diverse experience including group reporting, financial analysis with strategy and risk involvement, tax and company law etc Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and key external stakeholders Advanced computer literacy, including MS Office, IT systems, VIP Payroll, and various reporting platforms Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating finance teams Forex exposure and solid understanding of international financial principles (advantageous) Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels SYSPRO experience will be a strong advantage Demonstrates exceptional confidentiality, attention to detail, and accuracy, consistently maintaining the highest standards of work Define financial requirements against mandated goals and objectives; how annual and longer-term goals and objectives can be met through the use of financial resources, and translate these into specific financial commitments Forecast estimates for the predicted use of financial resources against the budgeted financial resources during a given fiscal year or period Oversight of finance functions across the Company and its subsidiaries and the MDs other businesses, including responsibility for financial accuracy and financial control across South Africa and other countries Assume responsibility for and take ownership of the Finance department Create management reports on a regular basis that are relevant to decision-making processes, measuring performance against measures and targets

Job Description

Minimum requirements:  International Reporting  Qualified Accountant  Sound knowledge of IT systems  Responsibility for bookkeeping aspects of all Group of companies, following due processes and procedures  Produce monthly management accounts for Group, including consolidation.  Review VAT returns for submission.  Responsibility for timesheet review and submissions.  Provide monthly payroll information to outsource company, review information submitted by return.  Ensure all filing is complete and accurately held.  Liaise with Company Secretary to ensure all company information is correct and all relevant submissions are field by the required deadlines.  Assist in reporting requirements as instructed by Head of Finance.  Assist auditors for all companies for the annual audit and any following queries.  Review Statutory accounts ready for presentation to Head of Finance.  Oversee finance element of BEE audits as required.  Responsibility for employee data.  Review external and internal contracts.  Management of 1 direct report.  Liaise with banks.  Statistics Consultant: Angie Botes – Dante Personnel Greenstone
